The design icon that is the 2CV, turns 70 years old in 2018. The British are celebrating this monumental birthday by having a 2CV called 'Dolly' transformed into the World’s Smallest Food Truck. Dolly will be fitted out with state of the art cooking facilities, built into a custom stainless steel kitchen, complete with a £35,000 price tag.
The project is supported by around 50 partners and sponsors, including the 'Best of British' food, drink and innovation. The build will be an all British affair, as seven 'Great British' companies join forces to design, build and manufacture, in Britain, our 2CV Dolly into her 70th Birthday repurpose design.
The finished car will be seen at major sporting, motor and food events across the UK and also around the World. The 2CVat70 will be a travelling ambassador for the Charity 'Food Cycle', highlighting the issue of food waste across the UK.

Bicester Heritage is the UK home of classic cars, a centre of excellence for the motor industry and will host the 2CVat70 reveal and launch event on Tuesday 15th May 2018, from 9am. The car reveal with take advantage of the 348 acre site, along with the monolithic events hangar providing some 50,000 sq.ft. of indoor space, test track and airfield
In honour of the 2CV’s landmark 70th birthday, the 2CVat70 project will make her first public appearance at The Confused.com London Motor Show 2018, this May. The world’s smallest food truck will be publicly revealed at the Show’s ‘Built in Britain’ feature. The Car has stood the test of time and has become a global design Icon. Now in 2018, the 2CV goes back into the fields, 70 years later, repurposed, as a state of art vehicle and the World’s Smallest Food Truck.
